Subject: Boulder Track Work Outs
Where does one go to get some track work in? I'm fairly new to Boulder, and haven't been on a track in a loong time.

I don't live in Boulder but you might try Boulder road Runners. http://boulderroadrunners.org/

Also, Ric Rojas has a run club in Boulder.  There is a fee.  I don't have a link, sorry.

While it's Louisville another option is Solepepper F.I.T. which has a speedwork clinic 1x per week right now.  www.4allrunners.com

Boulder Tri club used to do TNT (Tue night track). I don't know if they still do.  (Ricci of D3 used to lead the group)

if you're just looking for a track - I recommend CU's track (~ CO Ave & Foothills)

Since I'm unemployed I'm looking for anything that doesn't cost money. I live near the CU track off CO Ave & Foothills. Rode past it today... What are the rules for public use?

Thank you everyone for your input. Hopefully I can join one of the groups when I have a steady income.

Go for it.  I'm assuming you're over 22 so if anyone asks, just tell them you're a grad student   Any public high schools nearby?  Those are usually free game.

I'm pretty sure boulder high school has a track around the football field right off of the Boulder Creek Trail. I've never checked it out though. I know that CU track has signs on it that say don't use this and I have never used it before but worst case scenario they say get off the track if you say you're a grad student. Let me know what you find since I live right off the boulder creek trail.
