Subject: LBS recommendations MKE area?
Hubby is going to be purchasing a new bike either this winter or spring...need recs on LBS that are willing to teach and are good to deal with.   We hit W&S earlier, and although the sales guy was super nice, rushed us along when we told him we didn't want to buy today and were just looking (NO OTHER PEOPLE IN THE STORE!)....

So, long story short...looking to support a local shop to buy a new bike, preferably in the greater Milwaukee area (Kenosha ok, Waukesha ok, etc). Thanks!

I get my stuff from Emery's.  They have a location in Menomonee Falls (where I go) and one in Milwaukee right where Capitol meets Lisbon.  Great people and always willing to help out even when not buying today.  They also have classes every so often so you can learn bike maintenance and other things.

Bike Dr out in Dousman also has knowledgable staff and better pricing than Emery's...  in my experience.

X2 for the Doc.

Very good fitters for both road bikes and Tri bikes.  Their mechanics are excellent as well if you (like me) don't do your own wrenching.
