Comments: I was a good 2 minutes slower than last year. I just don't have it this year. I need to write it off. The course is easy with small inclines. I know if I push myself I can go faster. What would you do differently?: Lose weight, get faster. Post race
Warm down: Walked around. Ate a hot dog and some water, gatorade and Myoplex(?). Saw a woman from work chatted with her. Headed home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Me, myself, and I Event comments: The pre-race ceremonies really get me. Anytime I hear Taps I choke up. Ran behind a veteran with a prosthectic. Woke up early debating whether or not to go. Since my company sponsors a running team and pays the registration fee, I decided to go. Ate a Power Bar and some diet Coke
I tried to stretch my calf as much as possible. It was really tight and throbbing.
