Tomorrow, 11/11, is Veteran's day.  Regardless of your personal opinions as to the current war, the fact of the matter is that our country would not be what it is today without the veterans that have served.

I'd like to thank our veterans.  Many have served.  Many have fought on behalf of you and I.  Far too many have died, whether it be at Gettysburg, Yorktown, Iwo Jima, or Bagdhad.  Without your service and dedication, America would be a far worse place.  God Bless you, and thanks.

Agreed. My gratitude goes out to all past, present and future veterans.

Thanks for reminding me tomorrow is veterans day.
I'll buy a round of beers for all the veterans who'll be at my running group tonight as a small thank you.

Just saw a few Veteran's at a local store - they were handing out the traditional Poppies - I love those!  Thanks to all our Veterans and those currently serving - who knows where we'd be without them all.

You are welcome. (Two grandfathers, father (Deceased, AF Academy graduate), adopted father, myself, uncle, several cousins including a serving refueling wing commander, and many friends.)

And, thank you to all that are currently serving from me.

Thank you to those that have served, continue to serve and plan to serve. I pray for your safety each and every day, and for the families of those that have lost someone defending our freedom.

Despite our opinion on whatever battle the goverment may be involved in you risk your lives for us each and every day and for that I am eternally grateful.

Hello

Army Vet here.

Thank You.

My thoughts tomorrow will be with those currently serving in harms way and I will reflect on the memory of those I served with in the 1 ID and 3 AD.

At work today I watched the Fort Hood service and had tears in my eyes.

God Bless the USA!

Kevin

Active Duty Navy, 17 years and counting.  Thanks for your thoughts.  It is truly a humbling experience to serve with such great people.  I really feel honored when I see the sacrifice our fellow citizens and their families make.

Thanks to all who served and also to their families!

Army vet here and I thank all of the other veterans who have served and who continue to serve.  I think a lot of people lose sight of the fact that we have a lot of military personel who at this moment are in harms way.  Take a moment to think about them today......
