Comments:

awesome run. We walked a big portion of the `1st 13 miles, the climbing was AHHH!! Ultra runners are so gabby and friendly. Time went by fast. At the turn around I was on top of the world. 1/2 done! However, by mile 32 ( another friend was there to pace), I was at my low point. "Only 18 more miles Rachel!" thanks.... I continued eating twizzlers, homeade cookies, and gu. My hydratin and nutrition were right on for this race. By the last aid station I was a tad cranky. My phone wasn't working and my parents/bro were calling every few hours. I ran with my partner for the whole race. The last 6 miles were ok. I was in shock it was almost over. A mile out both friends ran me in, it was a HUGE high and emotional rush. I DNF'd a 50 in may, finishing made this finish even sweeter. I'd addicted. I want to do a few more 50's in the next 6 months, a 100k, and javelina jundred.
What would you do differently?:

more trails, practice walking on the uphills.
Post race
Warm down:

soup and warm-car :)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

COULD have gone faster, I looked at this as, " I want to finish and have fun"

Miles 30--45 can be pretty tough in a 50-miler.  Congrats on pulling out of the chasm and on to the finish line.
