Master 1410 White Plains NY | Subject: RE: Hey New York area Triathletes, which 2010 tri's are you doing? I'm already registered for Mooseman 70.3 on 6/6 and Timberman 70.3 on 8/22. As filler races, Im considering a sprint waaaaaay up in Dutchess Country on May 23 and the Fronhofer Tool Olympic on 8/7. Im looking forward to the Fronhofer Tri....it reads to be a pretty course. Last season I had a great experience at the Stamford Olympic....its the last weekend in June next year. Another fun but larger Olympic is the Westchester Tri towards the end of Sept. I think sign up for that is in March. |

Thanks Jon I'm hoping to find a HIM distance aquabike in July preferably, I'd travel a bit for it too. I checked out your blog, looks like you are having a great time with your P2. I'll have to try that 37 mile route one of these days. wstchstrTriathlete - 2009-11-26 10:49 PM the only aquabike that I know of is the HealthNet tri/aquabike in Shelton, CT. Master 1690 Metro NY Area | Subject: RE: Hey New York area Triathletes, which 2010 tri's are you doing? Joe Kleinerman 10K is a NYRR race in Central Park. I'm pretty sure entries are closed now. Joe was my boss and we treated each other like family. He was one of the founders of the NYRR in 1958, he was in the top 10 in Boston Marathon in the 1940's and devoted his life to running. I am very excited to be running a race in honor of him. Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Hey New York area Triathletes, which 2010 tri's are you doing? I'm planning to do the NYC tri and the Rev 3 Oly. I'll probably also do the LI Gold Coast Sprint and the Flat as a Pancake tri on Staten Island, and maybe a couple of others along the way. Ironclad might be a possibility. In terms of other events, I'll do: The Jackrabbit Indoor Tri in January or February The Gridiron 4-miler on Super Bowl Sunday in CP The Great Hudson River Swim in May I'd like to do a century ride at some point, but I don't want to do either the NY Century or the early Montauk Century. That leaves the other Montauk Century in June or the North Fork Century. |

There's also one in NJ I would like to try, the Ramapo Rally. It's in August I think and has varying distances up to 125 miles. |

NH isn't that far away, but if I were going to do something that early in the fall, I'd just do a local marathon that's also held at the same time (Adirondack Distance Festival). I was hoping for something in October or November. I may put my name in for the NYC lottery and see if I get it. It's held on 11/7 next year, which would be perfect. |
