Would anyone mind if I share my high? Of course, that's what this site is about! Triathletes are the greatest friends in the world. This morning, I ran 5 at 5 am on my 50th birthday. Five miles at 5 am is a usual weekday run for me, but nonetheless it feels great to still be able to do it at the 50 mark! To me, this is what the Tri lifestyle is all about - having the strength and energy to swim a mile one night, run 5 miles the next morning, and take a 15-mile cruise on your bike that evening. We strive to do what others view as impossible - and that's what makes the community of triathletes the best people in the world to be around. Good health rules, no?

Happy Birthday.

Since I'm part of the over 50 crowd, I can understand your high!!!

Isn't great to realize that you can do so much. It only gets better like a fine wine.

Happy birthday from another recent member of the 50+ club. I know how you feel. I was fortunate to run a 5 mile race on my 50th. I even had 50 for my race number. I considered running it in 50 minutes but I also had a goal to run faster which I did.

Good luck!
