Figured I better post my weight for last Wed. 169.6 --- up 1.4. I must say that I am getting pretty disgusted with my self. Its just from eating crap and doing nothing (I still have my foot issue...grrrr! Probably from my obesity). One thing I have learned is that at 150 (remember that weight fondly...sigh) I actually looked sick. I can post some of the pics form 3 christmas's ago and it did not look pretty. So I have decided that my "REAL" goal will be about 160 (for Mary's and such I wouldn't mind dropping a few extra). Now to take care of some aches and pains and get back to it.

Treadmill 10K in 53:40.  (52:40 with a one minute break to reset the machine).  A really good time for me considering the vast quantities of no-no's I've ingested the last few days.

I remember the last time I lost a bunch of weight and got down to 135 and I didn't like how I looked.  My collarbones were too prominent and I just didn't look good.  This time around I haven't yet gotten down to 135, but it is so different.  I think it is because I am a lot more muscular this time so even though I am close to what I was then weight-wise, I was a lot thinner before.  I'm also ten years older and carry my weight differently.

Sooooo, Brian, 150 pounds a few years ago might not be the same as 150 now.  Just something to think about.  Were you doing all that P90X back then?

No I was not. I was actually doing an Atkins kind of thing and mismoshing (not really a word...LOL) things I called a workout.

Now look what you've done!!!  WTG Phil :-

(and you certainly put in the training time for a 1/2mary... just don't up your distance too quickly... injury is your biggest enemy)

Careful I will be. Yoda? No, my long run was yesterday and I would have done a 10k I just did not think about it. Today was a short run so I thought I would do the virtual 5k. My base until six weeks ago was 20 miles a week, but I added cycling and swimming. My weekly miles took a hit. I'm slowly building it back up and I'm currently on a 4 month half marathon plan. April (half marathon date) I will have been running nine months. Hopefully, I'll be 25-30 lbs. lighter by then. December has been a difficult month...................weight wise.

Hello

Checking in for the final time this month.  I met my goal of staying below 260.  Today  259 and this is after 5 days in Vegas and Christmas food fest.

I am getting my knee scoped tomorrow so I will be at home through the weekend and not sure when I can start swimming again.

Jan 2010  goal  252

My virtual race ended up being a 10 miler.  Had the day off, haven't gotten to work out in awhile, the weather was nice...so I took advantage of it.

Not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in!

Weighed the same two days in a row. So I'll use today as end of month weigh in.

Drum roll please........................

12/1 253.8....................... 12/30 245.0    - 8.8 lbs. for the month!

Altough 245 is still way to heavy, still have at least 35lbs to go, 245 feels like a more normal number than the 250's +. Increasing my work out time has off set all the holiday temptations. Looking forward to the 230's for January.

Hello

Back at home after getting my right knee scoped today.  5 to 6 days of sittting in my chair watching football and eating.  Life is good.

January 2010 will be a good weightloss month for me as I gear back up.

137.5.  I don't think I am going anywhere.  Not up, which is good, and not down, which is bad.  Well, maybe not bad, but not what I would prefer.

213.  Not a good week for eating even though I kept up with the workouts.  I'm perturbed with myself (actually a different p-word).  Back down to 207 is my goal for Jan.
