boxer - 2010-10-03 10:44 AM Who's signing up for next year?

I AM !!!

Not sure I'm going to do it next year.  I may do part of the relay but right now my plans for next year is to focus on speed and short course.  I'll be there to cheer you on either way.

Look for me.  I will be dong it again.  Despite the weather on the bike it was great.  I was told through a post from Cube that Augusta is better than the Disney 70.3.  I did both this year and will have to agreee.  I live in Orlando and I am doing Disney again just because it is here, but Augusta is much better.  The run course in Disney is terrible.  The bike and swim are fine, but the run course is a deal breaker.  I had a great time and met several BT's.

Im OUT for 2011, nothing bad about the race, just looking to tri new things.
Doing my first Full in 2011 @ IM Lou in Aug, then looking to close out the year @ 70.3 Miami in late Oct. Next years race schedule is all about prep for IM LOU with mostly Oly distance races & only 6-7 races total for the season, down from 12 this summer.
You'll most likely see me back @ Augusta in 2012 going for a Clearwater spot!

Please post when you get your medals.  I agree.  For the price we should all get one!

I received my medal on Monday. No apology letter, no nothing, just a medal in an envelope.

Well at least I finally received mine.

How many people did not get medals or at what time mark did they run out?  I finished in the high five hour mark (5:50 ish).  I honestly cannot remember if I got one or not.  My buddy finished 15 minutes ahead and he has a medal.  I've scrounged around the house (after not finding it in my medal pile) and cannot come up with it for the life of me.  Maybe I did not get one at all?

The people that didn't get medals were in the 2010 race, not the 2011 race (to my knowledge). At least, their posts are from 2010.

Nevermind, epic fail.  My medal was still in a side pocket in the suitcase I used that weekend.  I scoured the house for days wondering what I'd done with it, or if I had gotten one at all, then I read this thread and was convinced I didn't get it.
