Subject: Recovery times?
This year, at last, I am doing some regular strength training exercises as part of my exercise plan. I strength train 2/3 times a week, spending between 45-80 minutes each session. I am currently doing 8-12 reps each set and 3 set of each exercise.

Here goes my question: I want to spend less time for weights so in the recovery time of one exercise, I do some other exercise which was not used in the former exercise. Example: chest press, leg press.

What do you think of it? Am I cutting the recovery times too much to make both exercises inefficient or is it okay?

That is a perfect way to do things, to cut down on time. Just make sure you are doing two "pulling" or "pushing" exercises back to back. That will take away from them.
Chest/Biceps, Back/Triceps, Chest/Legs, Biceps/Triceps, etc.

This is called supersetting. Yeah, it's a good time saver, but as mentioned, be careful not to do two exercises that use the same muscles, which isn't always apparent.
