Subject: Bike Clothing/Tri Suit sizing
Okay now I am gong to get some clothes for biking and need to get a tri suit or something like that for the race I am doing in February. If I wear a XXL t shirt, and a size 40 in waist in pants what sizes would fit me. I know that the shorts are compression shorts, and the tops run small (like an Ed Hardy T shirt) so what are your recommendations. 

Also for a tri suit, does it matter if it is too long? The XXL sizes seem like they would fit, but are for people over 6 feet tall (which I am not). Thanks for the help

My LBS will actually let us try on clothes to see if they fit.  There are some shops that will not allow this though.  One way I first did was actually try to bid on stuff through Ebay at low prices (My size= more options at less costs) and if it didn't fit then I would resell it and I basically broke even, but there were some brands that I really liked (towards the fit) and I kept them and now I know my size.
