Pre-race routine:

Quickly slammed a gel while getting my bib and d tag on. Not enough time to protect the nips.

Event warmup:

None- Got there at 6:15 got bib and hurried to get to early start.

Comments:

Watch died as I was hitting the mile split do I found someone with the same goals to pace me. I did not try and run super fast just kept the pace comfortable yet faster. A new PR for me yeahhhhhh

What would you do differently?:

Change watch battery and get there early if going to do the early start.

Warm down:

Cheered on other runners as they came into finish. Had an EAS myplox chocolate drink, snickers marathon bar and had a beer with Jeff and Laura.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing

I'll probably do this again as it is a great race for the cost.
