To anyone interested... My RR is ready and posted.  Like I just said, look at the pics for GPS readings - mainly the detail on the swim.  Great job everyone who toed the line and even more for those who crossed the finish line!

No camera on hand but crossed paths with CROWIE 2-3x.

Boom808 - 2010-04-24 8:57 PM it was my first oly and despite not having trained for the last 2 months, i loved it!  i think i got lucky because the swim felt great, the bike went suprisingly well...  the run...  not too good.  !

I fell the same.  My 1st Oly, nearly no run training due to nagging injuries.  Swim was my biggest fear, but amazingly I did awesome.  Looking at my watch I hit the stairs at 27 min, and was out of T1 in 30.  Official time says out of T1 in 37, so I'm looking into what happened with that, but either way, I figured 45 mins in the water, but instead I didn't panic or need any rest breaks and kicked butt (for me at least).  Bike was what I expected, a little over 18 avg, but considering the headwind, was great for me.  Run, not so good.  Stomach upset for most of it, got sick at mile 3 twice, and finished it just under my bike time at 1:17.  My prior 10k worst time was 1:05 so definitely off.  But I crossed the finish line, got my medal, and actually feel great today!!

Can't wait til next year.

Hope everyone enjoyed the race!  Other than the breeze, I thought the weather was perfect.  Warm but not hot, good cloud cover.  Love St. A's weekend - see ya next year!

Anyone knows where to find info on time penalties?  My 6min penalty is now getting to me.
There's no real detail on USAT site and now I am wondering what the heck did I do.

I've already email Phil Lahaye... but wanted to check and have the info on hand (be educated rather than told)

It's on the right-hand side of the results page.

Looks like Rule 5.10a twice.

Meerkat, couldnt make the link work but this rule is for elites.  I will keep trying to make the link work or find the target somehow.  No use whining here, but I am absolutely sure I didn't draft (don't need to).  I want my dignity back! (so I can proudly wear my aero helmet backwards!!!)

results:    "An error occurred while searching for your results. Please try again."

Found it - drafting x 2  - How TF??? I will wait to hear back from Phil.  Any decent RD would listen to and respond to his customers, right?

I am sure he will.  I have done a couple of his races and had an issue at one that he handled promptly.  Hope you get the answer you are looking for.  Although I don't know how you are going to get the answer you want.  Basicly your word against one of his crew.

did anyone watched this?
tri onTV is always good, I just wished they wouldve given some attention to anyone who is npt a pro or the president of St.As hospital.

Seriously, VS.  I think it was a well made production...If you are gonna invest the time and resources, give the main field a chance too.  Yell
