Pre-race routine:

Met w/ jmk-brooklyn for pre race Starbucks, hooked up at the race site w/ LazyMarathoner -did alot of shivering and running in place to keep warm

Comments:

This was the first time I ran since IMFL. I was a little worries as I was not sure my stress fracture in my ankle was healed enough to do this so I planned to walk most of the race. I started with a slow pace and kept it throughout the race and walked the aid stations and I managed to run the entire race.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing ot was just my last qualifying race for the NYC Mart next year, so I just needed to knock it out!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

umm...ironman 4 weeks before PERHAPS!

Event comments:

Great way to finish off my year -on a good strong note, made me excited to start back training first of the year -now time to enjoy the holidays!

Sounds like fun way to get back to training!

So doing the series allows you to NYC Mary or did I misread that?
