So believe it or not, I actually rode my bike today.  Just for a bit, but it felt pretty good.  Abdomen was okay, as was the knee.  I am definitely out of shape.  It's going to be 7.5 long months of training.  

Alana, now that I actually rode a bike outside this year, here's a couple of other things I was thinking of.  The road, at least around here, have a ton of potholes and sand on the sides.  So you need to pay extra careful to those things.  And this early in the season, cars aren't used to having us on the road, so you may want to go out on slightly less traveled roads this early in the season.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.  Believe it or not, I am feeling better.  Maybe it was just a bad muscle pull instead of a tear.  I was running around with the kids yesterday and I feel good.  I don't think exercising will be an issue.  I just have to be careful lifting things.  I think I am going to go for a run today.   Just a mile or so to see how I feel.  



Excellent !! Very exciting news. Sorry, i don't have time to get caught up on what everyone has been doing right now. But i'm hoping everyone is feeling well, getting the some training in, healing up and starting to enjoy some nicer weather !! Woo-Hoo - summer's on it's way !!

I have been asked to start a new thread for April's mentor group so it won't get confusing.  I will post the link when I set it up so those that want to continue can.  I will let you know when it's up.

I'm jumping ship there's a new BBMG opened up and I would like to sign off to everyone that is not coming with us to the new group. It has been a pleasure meeting all of you even though not in person, who participated in this winter mentor group. I would probably not have got as much done without the help of the group and working through a IT band injury with you.  Now enough of this back slapping each other get over to the new thread so we can work on our race season.
