Hello from Michigan,

I'll be in PCB over the holidays to get some outdoor riding in. I would appreciate any advice from the locals as to where to ride. How is the traffic on the Ironman course? Anywhere else where triathletes tend to concentrate? I'm only looking for rides in the 40-60 mile range. Thanks!!

This is a good route.  We rode much of it (up to the West Bay Bridge) when we were there on vacation this summer.  There aren't dedicated bike lanes, but the shoulder is very wide and clean on parts of it.  Hwy 388 is straight and flat.

I would stay off of Hwy 77 and Hwy 231...it's scary driving on those roads in a car.  Smile

There is a running/triathlon store on Thomas Drive called Freedom Sports.  Marshall owns the shop and knows about the local group rides that are happening if you are interested in joining up with a group.

Have fun in PC!
