Member  29  Bedford |  Subject: The Cowtown - Ultra Marathon : Official ThreadWell I just finished the White Rock Marathon and going to recover for a few days and get back to the running. I think I'm just do whatever I feel like doing that day instead of following a specific training plan. If I feel like biking, I will bike. If I feel like doing two 20 milers in one week, I will do it. Just trying to go out and have fun and keep it fresh. |

My friend is probably coming down to do the Cowtown half marathon with me ... for the 2nd year. Last year we did a walk/run combo. I have her on a 11 week training plan for busy people... only 3 days of running a week. I did it for 6 weeks for the White Rock Half and I PRed the race. So yeah I'm taking this week off of running and starting up with the plan next week. |

The thing I realized is that you can put together ANY 5 medals... for example, here is a pic after last year of 5 in my group just smooshing them together. Just saying you don't necessarily have to do all 5 years if someone is willing to share. After 2010, my boyfriend and I will have 4 medals between the two of us. Just need one more to make the star
