Chaderbox - 2009-12-18 6:48 PM You can't go wrong with any of the beers from Stone.  I'm partial to their IPA, and Arrogant Bastard.  The Oaked Arrogant is awesome too, but more difficult to find.

Stone is awesome.  I've been to their brew festival for the last 3 years.... good times!  This year they had a kona coffee macadamia coconut porter.... it was ridiculously good.  They sold it in stores for a short time in the SD/LA area, but it sold out super quickly even at $12 for a 12 oz bottle.  My sister managed to obtain one bottle and four of us shared it.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good oatmeal stout?  It's getting to be that season and I'm craving some.

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is quite tasty...

A man after my own heart, Samuel Smith is a beer to behold. Also Id add the Rogue Oatmeal as well as chocolate stout to the list. And the grandaddy of them all. Southern Tier double chocolate, really if you can get your hands on a bottle you wont regret it.

Normally i drink Sweetwater, its a GA brewery. Their "happy ending" really is amazing.

If it's not high gravity i wont drink it

Lots of good beers mentioned already.  I am partial to IPAs but pretty much like all kinds of beer.  My favorite Hefeweizen is Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier.  Check out Beer Advocate if you are interested in beer reviews.

X2 Sierra is a staple of my diet. They had a fall varietal called Tumbler that was awesome as well.
