Swim
Comments: On my bike leg I cramped in my calf and needed to stop for about a minute to let the muscle recover. By the time I got to the swim leg my kick was not there and swam too leisurely. What would you do differently?: Drink, the adrenaline was pumping so much I didn't drink anything and cramping resulted from it. Transition 1
Comments: Freaking left my cleat covers on my shoes, cost me time to take them off. What would you do differently?: Have my cleat covers off Bike
Comments: The bike leg was techinically very challenging, there were alot of downhill into corners. The roads during these turn were rough and I overbraked for fear of loosing traction. The worst turn was the one right before the uphill section. Typically prior to any uphill section you build as much momentum as possible however having a corner placed right before it is a momentum killer Something new to work on. What would you do differently?: Work on my carrying speed through the corners. I cramped during the last lap and that really hurt the swim leg that followed. Pretty upset about that. Transition 2
Run
Comments: The run was straight forward, some of the paths were too tight forcing you to circumvent obstacles along with people. The stair portion was fun, the risers of the stairs were not to high. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Cramp in my right calf Last updated: 2009-03-31 12:00 AM

Saturday prior to the race picked up race packet and had my number on my shirt and bike put on. Race day, picked up timing chip, got some ink done with a sharpie for my number. Walked around the entrance and exit locations to be sure I knew where I was going and such.
None.
