Not really this year...I told my husband to hold off the the aero helmet since I'm not sure what this coming season holds. I did get a running head light from my mom...not something I would go out and buy myself, but something I'll keep because I could come in handy. And a gift card to a local running store. I did get a swiss ball and a incline workout bench.

Sugoi Piccadilly Shoe Cover

I had no cold weather gear so this stuff helped a lot.  Going to get some new bike shoes this week.  Can't wait!

Wow, I was thinking that everyone got a ton of tri stuff, and then I started to type my own list out:

CW-X Running tights
Cycling arm warmers
Cycling leg warmers
Hydrotail rear hydration system
Cash and gift certificates towards a Garmin 310xt

Was there anyone who got a bike who wasn't expecting it?

I got a trainer for my bike.  Haven't been able to use it yet, as we are moving to a new state, but can't wait to try it out!

I love my Pool Mate watch.  But you might check yours.  The first one came and I checked the battery life right away and it was 6 out of 10.  Brand new.  So exchanged it and the next one came with the same 6 out of 10.  I actually suspect it is an issue with the the measuring of the battery life and not the actually battery.  There is a button sequence to check the battery life.

BTW, I love, love, love the watch.  Makes counting laps a breeze.  Makes timing sets, etc very easy.

Bought the wife a QR tri bike, plus shoes and speedplay pedals. She has been on an old road bike and looking at this bike all summer. She had no idea she was getting it. So I got a whole pile of brownie points for the year.
