I got to spend Christmas with my family and nobody killed anybody.

Haven't had Christmas with the family in at least eight or nine years. Can't remember the last one. Actually ... this is going to be the last one, so it's a good thing I was here.

Watching my daughter. This was the first year that she was really into Christmas/Santa.

On a more personal note, the 64gig ipod touch is pretty cool too it makes me really wish I could get an iphone on verizon.

My mother in law got me a food processor! I've been wanting one for a really long time (ok, since I burned up my blender making 21st century mac n cheese...). It's so useful and I can't wait to use it.

And my grandfather was incredibly generous to us this year, and it couldn't come at a better time. I found out on Christmas Eve that my hours at work are going to be severely cut for at least a few months.

rowdypaint - 2009-12-25 7:19 PM The 52" TV that my husband and I bought for ourselves.  We're so hard to shop for, so we just eliminate the middle man and buy our own gifts.  I did get an excellent pair of socks from my MIL in my stocking.

x2 on the TV (we got the samsung), the middle man, but not the socks.

Not under the tree, but a rather generous honorarium from church for all that I do on the worship team, and $500 in bonds leftover from all of the bonds that my dad's parents bought for us when we were younger. Most went to our college educations, but my dad had a few left. Right now, several hundred dollars that I can use for monthly expenses is better than anything else. That money is a huge blessing right now.

And I got a red KitchenAid 7-speed handmixer And not my gift, but mine by association, my sister got the American Idol game for the Wii!!!!

Himalayan Quest, by Ed Viesturs. I haven't put it down since my I got it from my brother. It's essentially a photographic diary of his climbs in the Himalaya, and it's outstanding. I'm Blair, I'm kinda nerdy sometimes, and that's my best present this year. He also sent me 'How to Pee in the City'  but I prefer the first book.

The corny answer is both of my parents were here!  My parents divorced 37 years ago and they drove here together and had a great time.  The kids had a blast with both of them and I got a pic with me and my parents, before Christmas I had to be wearing a wedding dress for that to happen. Innocent

The tri answer is my CycleOps Fluid 2 Laughing

Two of my aunts put together a recipe book of all of my grandmothers recipes (she passed away in June '05).  The cookbook is beautiful!  Grandma loved to leave notes in weird places for us to find later, and the cookbook had a bunch of her notes that were scanned into the computer.  It was neat to see her handwriting on almost every page!

6" of fresh, fluffy powder on top of the 2.5' base. (Thank you mother nature!)

Best birthday present (on the 1st): I set up my repair stand in the basement, worked on the bike and set it up on the trainer upstairs in the spare bedroom.....without a single word from my wife.
