I let the swimming go because it is easiest for me to pick back up. Also, I just dread getting up in the dark and COLD to go get wet in the pool...

I'm injured so I "let go" of pretty much everything.... did a couple of easy bike rides and some water aerobics but everything else fell by the wayside because it aggravated the injury.

I have to let the swim go a little once the water gets cold - the closest pool is 1h15m away.  So I get there almost every week for an hour, but some weeks I just can't make it.  In the summer I have two lakes that I swim in 3x-4x/week.  I am trying to force myself to do some swim-specific WT this winter to help.

This season for the first time ever I really let all 3 go.  With an early Nov. IM I took the rest of Nov. off and just worked out when I felt like it.  Dec. just kind of snuck up on me, so I didn't really jump back into regular training.  I am hoping I will see a positive effect (from allowing my body to decondition and taking the mental break) now that I have started back in on a training program to prep for a May race.

I let go biking and swimming since late August with the birth of my son. Logistically running was a bit easier to maintain so I kept up with that....barely.

My last tri was in September and I haven't been in a pool since. I do hope to start up again in about two weeks. I have however increased my running and maintained my cycling (though on the treadmill and trainer).
