Interesting story, but not that unusual, methinks. At my local gym I think guys must often give birth based on the sounds they make. Such pain.

I think she could win gold in the next Olympics in the 'clean and birth' event.

I am continually amazed by these women who don't know they are pregnant - how does that happen - I mean there are signs...

Yeah, I cannot imagine NOT knowing you are preggers.  The lack of Aunt Flo coupled with feeling like a whale...seriously?  Maybe she already lacked Aunt Flo due to training...so we will give her the benefit of the doubt THERE.  But she HAD to have gained some unexplained weight...

From the article at the link:

"I could see she was a big girl, round and strong. That's all I noticed."

I find this comment to be HILARIOUS.

But each woman is different and some have very few of those symptoms (ie, my bff has zero morning sickness) that are typically attributed to pregnancy.  Any number of the other symptoms (fatigue, etc) could be attributed to her training.  I also know of some women who don't gain much weight (if any) during pregnancy (now, normally, those are women who are overweight prior to pregnancy, but still, it's possible).

I get that not all women get their periods, and might not have other symptoms or attribute it other causes, but when the baby starts kicking???? sheesh my boys were little soccer players and there is NOTHING like that.  Maybe early on you could think it is gas, but at 6 months???????

Discovery Health has a series called "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant" and the one woman thought she had gas...goes to the bathroom and braces herself on the toilet to let one go and out came the baby. Luckily the baby was fine.

Yeah I don't get it either.  At the very least you'd feel that fluttering (from how it has been described to me) sensation of the baby moving.

I think you'd have to be very dumb or very self absorbed to not notice being pregnant (to term).
