Comments: This was probably one of the coldest races I have ever ran. We are just not used to these cold temps down here in NC. I couldn't get warm at the start but finally warmed up near the end. I am not sure if I was warmed up or just numb. I couldn't feel my legs by the end. I really had not been running much since IMAZ so I was really happy with this race. My goal was to run a 1:37 in order to qualify for the NYC Marathon and I did it so I was VERY pleased! I got second female overall!  Post race
Warm down: Went to a local pizza shop to warm up! What limited your ability to perform faster: The cold temps... Event comments: The medals they gave our were awesome...handpainted sand dollars! Last updated: 2010-01-08 12:00 AM

Got up and had a bagel with peanut butter and some coffee, then drove to the race with Scott, Jon and Janelle
Did a little warm up with Nick and Andrea. It was soooo cold!
