Frederick sounds like a good one.

I'm planning on the BA1/2 in March. I'm thinking the Frederick would be more interesting scenery though. Training was okay till last week when things started hurting. Cut back the last week and thinking that will do the trick....Almost tempted to on one of SCamps trail runs but think that will probably officially wreck what's left of the knee's!

Its actually a lot easier on the body then you'd think.  We can customize the route to anyone who comes.  More the merrier.

Easier on the body than I think? One way to find out.

I vote easier on the knees or other "impact" prone sites... tougher on the ankles (twist/roll danger)... and toughest on the heart, lungs, quads, and calves

I am a big believer in the benefits of a technical run that engages some different lower leg/stability muscles for long term injury prevention... if you can avoid spraining the ankles in the process.  PVSP requires active concentration, which I am prone to being lazy about when engaged in coversation... especially with people behind me.

All that said, come on out.  There are several "bail here" options that will cut some distance off of various loops.

This is especially true when he is reciting War and Peace.

Ill be at the training run this Sunday morning at 7AM... there is a 5 miler and a 10 miler, I hear. Why in the world we are running at 7AM evades me, though. Our work club has a ten miler on first Saturday of March and April at 9 AM in the same area of Frederick as the race. Last year I went 1h:43 and change and really don't feel like I'm gonna hit that this year.

I will be going too but haven't decided on 5 or 10 yet. I am a slow runner so hope to finish the race in 3 hours. 7am is a great time because you will still have some morning left. I run in the evenings now only because of my schedule but on weekends, we start at 7 but I would start at 6am if I have a buddy.
