Racing, will be second time Columbia... trying to beat last year's 3:04.

Just hoping to make it through the swim without dying (seriously .......).  Then we'll see how the rest goes.

awesome.... I just counted.. me and 203 of my closets friends from AG 14-19 and 25-29 and 50-54.

Nice...Neon Green Wave 5. Glad to get started again on the early side. Of course that just means more people to pass me on the bike.

Same here.

We can have a contest to see who gets passed by more people on the bike!

Count me as one of those people since you guys will beat me out of the water even though we're in the same wave.

That's the problem...I will probably be out of the water towards the front so the only people I pass on the bike are in the 70+ age group.

Columbia seems to have a unique take on how the waves should be started... ah well, looks like I can't use the fact that everybody started after me as an excuse for getting passed... unless I am getting chicked. It'll be interest to be one of that last ones through the finish also.

Friday at 6:30 pm in the Galleria (inside the Sheraton Hotel down the hallway from the front desk).  There will be several top tier professionals, among them 2 time Ironman World Champion, Tim DeBoom, and 6-time Ironman World Champion Natascha Badmann available for questions, autographs and motivation!  They will be joining you on the racecourse on Sunday morning!"

Going out at 7:24 - with 322! of my closest 'friends' in the 40-44 age group.. (I counted twice) - got to be the biggest age group ever....

The 10-Day forecast is calling for Partly Cloudy conditions and race-time temps around 70.

Wow! 322?  That is unbelievable.  This is my first Olympic as well as open water, should be interesting...
