Lake Terramuggus Triathlon Series 2010 (Page 2)

hmmmmmm...maybe..if I can fix the front tire on my tri bike..tempted..hilly ride is it??

Summarizing a list of who is (or at least may be) going....

Ellery - aka eklung05 - Specialized Roubaix Elite Triple (?) - got it from her log - color?
Matt - aka Donzy - white/black/red Cervelo P2 & his wife's orange Felt
Chris - aka cdf26.2 - All Black Element SI
Beth - aka  trirific10 - A tri bike with a front tire that has just been fixed (hopefully)

Bob - aka rbriggz - Black & White Javelin Fara
(not my bike - but looks like this)




Should we pick a pre-race meetup time/spot. The registration takes place under the pavilion. Perhaps the far side of the pavilion (toward the lake - away from the Registration Table) at 5:30 ? I hope to have my transition area setup and be registered by then so i can do a quick warm-up run then head to the lake to warm-up the swim a bit just before the race.

Sweet deal. My Rubaix Elite is just an all-navy roadie...not very noticeable. I'm planning on wearing my pink tri top though, so maybe that will help. Bob, I'll plan on getting there at 5:00 to register and be ready to warm up a little with you. Yay!

ha.ha.  Im going to work on my tire now..if you don't see me there its because Im at LBS instead.

Ok..thinkn the tires are squared away..well they aren't square but a least not warped anymore..I think I'm good to go!..I have a blue trek eq. Orange handle bars, orange wheels..wil be wearing orange and black..pretty hard to miss..that said once I take my glasses off eveyones blurry outside a 10ft radius...so not being shy if I don't say hi...just blind!..oh and I'm also terrible with names,but tri10=beth!

Nevermind not going..website says they don't sell one day license and Im not going to pay an extra $40 for a year license at this point. Have fun yall!!

Bob and Ellery...nice to meet each of you.  Hope to see you at future races.  Enjoyed the race.  Water was warm and had a good time.  My wife on the other hand was somewhat dissappointed in that she rode the entire bike course with a rear flat. 

Great to see you guys there too !

Nichole still beat my overall by over 4 minutes, even tho my bike split was almost 6' faster than hers. Wholly cow, can she run !!

Not bad yourself there Matt !! 7th place overall !! Killed it ! 

Now i feel better that we didn't find you there

Sorry we missed you - hopefully we'll catch you at another race in the future. 

Some day I' hope I'll be able to Tri again.

Not racing, but hope to swing over and check it out.

I'm assuming this means the lake has been re-opened? 

My wife and I are both in and she just spoke with Cycling Concepts and confirmed that swim is on, at least as of now b/c water quality has improved.

I like that you were able to take 10th overall without finishing 10th or higher in any one event !!

I would've like to see the end of that race. Must have been pretty exciting. Looks like Nichole was almost able to run her down.

Thanks Bob.  We enjoyed the race.  Nic and I noth had a tough time on the run.  Women's finish was great.  I think 30seconds seperated the top 3.  Nic was trying to chase Kathy down, but ran out of steam.  I think the heat got to both of us and we really suffered on the run.  Looking forward to 7/29 - we will both be there again. 

Anybody else racing this Thursday (7/29)?  Nic and I will be there.

I will! I'm all excited. I've never done LT before. What is the run course like?

Glad you will be making.  I may not be able to race now b/c of a pinched nerve in my neck, but Nic will still be racing and I will be there regardless.  I have red/black/white (not too common) Cervelo and my wife has an orange Felt that will be parked together.  If you see us, feel free to stop by and say hello.

Run course is hilly to start but the last half is almost all downhill and at a grade that is comfortable.
