So I have been looking online at these and there many different types so I was wondering...does anyone use wireless headphones while running on the treadmill or biking on the trainer?  If so, which ones?  I would think there could be an issue with sweating but maybe not.

Thanks....

I have a pair at home, love them.  Don't have the brand in front of me.  Basically I can listen to the TV, music or whatever with them without cranking it up over the trainer or the treadmill.  I like not having wires and stuff all over me on the treadmill, etc.  Outside I don't use anything so inside I have a different setup.

I have a pair of Sennheiser wireless headphones.  They are good in that I can hear them well and they're comfortable.  The only problem I have is that I tend to run with my head tilted forward.  I'm also kind of a pounder on the treadmill (I may be on the ground, but I'm not so big I shake the earth when I run) so the headphones will want to slide forward a little when I'm running.

headphones

Other than that, they're fine.

Ah, mine are much smaller than that and actually hang off the back of my head with loops around my ears.  I'll try to remember to get the brand. They don't ever fall off though even if you were on your belly or looking straight down at your shoes and jumping up and down.

I should probably buy some of these.  I have had my ipod catapulted off of the treadmill a couple of times because the cord got caught on something.

I use an arm band for my Ipod when I run or bike (stationary) like this one

http://www.belkin.com/ipod/nano/

I keep the head phone cord short and tucked with something like this

http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=38158

and tuck it under my sleeve or under the band as well.  So the only wire is about 12 inches and doesnt get in the way of anything.

works great for me

The wife bought me a pair of Sony Walkman headphones that fit like a cordless bluetooth headset with the mp3 player in the right earpiece.   It is not wireless for the tv.  Been using them for about 2 months and love them, no popping out of the ears, they are the ear bud kind with 3 sizes to get a good fit.  I have run on the treadmill and wear them on the trainer without any issues. I can't focus on tv when running so I don't have the use for wireless to listen to the tv.

I have a pair of Sony's that work great.   They are blue tooth.  You have to use a plug in chip with the Ipod.  I used to have the same problems as everyone, sweat pops them out, cord gets caught and flings it etc.  No more with the wireless.  I got them at Best Buy.

If you have an Iphone/Ipod,  or any player with bluetooth, checkout the SB1 from Jaybirdgear.com.  just picked them up and they are sick.  If only the were waterproof!! they are sweat-proof though and are guaranteed as such, they say you can run in the rain....
