Uh you will be luck to see an inch of my skin with it being around 26 degrees at the start. I HATE COLD WEATHER. Ugh. Going to be sucking it up big time.

I am #801. I love it.

Anyways, it's a training run for me... so just going out there and doing what I can, but not killing myself.

Good luck to you!!!

Good luck to you too. I'm 1352 (I did in person registration). I'm using this as a training run too....but shooting for a 2-hour (hopefully sub-2). My PR for a half is 2:03....so just need to shave off 3 minutes.

Ssssoooooo.... I think I'm passing. I have my NASM personal cert test at 3:00 PM on Saturday... and I am not ready.

I think I need to pass on the run and study.

I'll do my training run on Sunday instead... and I can move my 12-miler to next weekend at the Rocky Raccoon.

13.1 was actually 13.25......

Did it in a respectable 2:08

Temp was 26 degrees.....windchill was a balmy 16 degrees. Running into the wind was not that fun. Certain parts were blocked so it was a welcomed relief.

It was SO cold and the wind on the Winfrey side was a whipping. Went out with a friend and just had some fun. We hammed it up at the cameras at mile 6 so I hope we got some fun shots.

My face was so numb during the run that I didn't realize I probably had snot all over my face where they were taking pictures. I looked like Rudolph at the end so I'm not sure I fared much better during the race photos. Nice run regardless--I did it as a training run with no Garmin, etc. so it was nice and low pressure. It still took a couple of hours to feel my feet afterwards and my face. Damn cold out there!

Good run.

Yeah, just plugged my Forerunner into my PC last night. FR distance 13.25. Guess we
got our moneys worth out of that course.
