Subject: New Washington DC Triathlon

Anyone catch this in email today?  Registration starts on the 1st, and the first 500 folks get $25 off with the code on the front page.  I can't find a registration fee though, has anyone seen that?

Washington DC Triathlon

The Nation's Tri is too expensive for my blood so I am thinking this may be similar.

I was told that the fee will be $175.  DC mark-up...it's a privilege to swim in the Potomac.

Looks like you are correct with the $175.  Wow that is just insane.  We can sign up for HIMs at a cheaper rate than that.  Ok I guess that counts me out. :-)

I signed up for the sprint distance before the deadline and it was $110.
It will be my first triathlon and I'm super excited to competing in DC!

EDIT:
-Also, the Nation's Triathlon is the more well-known race, and it is $190 for participants
-Washington DC Triathlon (The new one) is currently $135 for Sprint, and $190 for Int'l Distance
