Event comments:

I am not sure how to post a race report for a race that was cancelled. Myrtle Beach city officials cancelled the race at 10:30 last night because of snow.IMO,they made a mistake. They could have delayed the start till 9 or 10 this morning when the snow was basicly gone. This race had people from 48 states and other countries. As a minimum, they should have had a contingency plan for bad weather. So far there are no offers for refunds or credit for next year's race. No matter what they do I won't be going back to Myrtle Beach.

Sorry to hear about the marathon. That really stinks. A delay would have been the easiest thing to do.

John, that really stinks. I'm glad I didn't sign up since our weather has been so cold but I hate all your training went for nothing.

On the bright side, the High Point HM is March 20th! You've already got the fitness, just don't lose it!

See you soon.
