Anyone watch Amazing Race? New season starts tonight. One of the contestants is a 71 year old triathlete and is partnered with her granddaughter.

Starting tomorrow, you should be able to watch the full episode at CBS.com.

That ditzy beauty queen sure is nice to look at though.
The 1st episode was good...not as good as the Survivor premiere, but good.  The lesbian couple doesn't seem to be very nice.  They're definitely the team I'm rooting against.

How about the big brother couple (who came in first), the woman doesn't know how to tell time and the cowboys got Brazilian instead of Chilean money. What a bunch of dummies.

Yeah, I didn't like that.  Other than free advertising for another CBS reality show, why on earth are former winners of another show on this show?  That's just ridiculous.

The rodeo guys don't seem like the brightest bulbs, but they have to be fearless.  They'll destroy a lot of the challenges...until they hit a pothole like the Globetrotters hit last season.

I did enjoy the father/daughter painting the wrong house.  Funny stuff.

The pageant girl isn't annoying to me yet but the Big Brother girl is so annoying.  Good job granny on keeping up.  Not pulling for anyone just yet but most teams seem okay and not too annoying.

I thought it was a great start to the season!  You usually have to watch several episodes to get the quality sort of blundering on this single show.    Misprounciations (We're going to Chili!, Fun-what?, 11 different ways to say "villa", "Danke" for thank you), geography confusion, clue screwups (funicular, dropping the brush, painting the wrong room! epic), two penalties, and personal visit from Phil to end a challenge.  Wow, I cannot wait for more shows.

I've watched enough Amazing Race that stuff like wire walking doesn't strike me as all that interesting.  But I love dumb contestants and this season will not disappoint.

My only worry is that the higher-than-normal number of ignorant racers were pretty rude about the lesbian couple.  While I agree they came off to us as a little mean, they were the subject of many pejorative remarks - mostly behind their backs.  I suspect that will escalate.

Please refresh me and my wife's memories...we watched the whole episode but can't remember a single pejorative remark.  Maybe the gay brother said something?  Please refresh my memory.

Thanks, anything else?  Because, honestly, lesbian or not I'd use the same word to describe the brunette of the pair.  Besides, there's always name-calling...was it done because they were lesbians?  If so, it totally went over my head.  Totally.

Just watched, I think they may have earned that nickname independent of their sexual preferences.

Agreed on the massive stupidity shown by a few teams. Not quite Candleabra yet, but getting there.....

I wish all the teams were "regular people," not infamous beauty queens and CBS reality show contestants

From the editing, they kinda are.  Nothing to do with their sexual preference just is what it is.

It's sexual orientation.
