Not sure about time. Thought I pressed the start button but apparently not. Started too fast but settled after 200 meters. I have no idea what my form was like. I just lost my mind on the swim. My guess on time is 7:30-7:45.

What would you do differently?:

My swim was not up to par by race time. In addition to not swimming the entire week leading up to the race I was not able to swim much from mid-Dec. thru mid-Jan.

Totally sucked. Slow doing everything. Couldn't get clipped, get the Garmin on the bike, too much talking, etc...

What would you do differently?:

Practice transitions.

Pretty good bike considering my current fitness level. I know by looking at the Garmin I was doing over 17mph into the wind (1/2 of race) and between 20 & 23 with the wind. Had to slow down for 2 red lights on the course (unclipped on one).

Not bad. Actually I was a little gassed at the beginning but after 1 mile I felt much stronger and picked up the pace. 8:23/mile pace. Wanted to hit 8:00/mile pace but that's OK.

Early season race. Not in super shape.

Around 10 minutes faster than last year. Fun race.
