Subject: Question about Swimming Ear Plugs

Hey Just wanted to get some advice on what kind of ear plugs people recommend to use for OW Swim. I bought some silicon ear plugs for my first OW swim and I could not get a tight seal, one of them sprung a leak and the only reason it stayed in my ear was because of my swimming cap.

Anyways, just wanted to see what other kind of ear plugs are out there and which one's you would recommend for long distance swimming.

Don't like them.. I just try and pull the swim cap over my ears, and put the goggles close by.. seems to do the trick.. Don't get too much water in my ears.

I can't stand the feeling of water sloshing around my ears at all. So, earplugs are it for me. I wear the silicone ones, the ones that are like play-doh. It won't keep all the water out, but makes me more comfy. You just have to play with them, roll them around and you'll get it eventually. Just dont push them in too far.

and... not all of them come in the same sizes. The TYRs tend to be smaller. Speedos are a bit bigger. I just bought some generic from WalMart and they look just like the speedos.
