I'm just planning to hold on to Rocco really tightly and drag his soulless butt up with me.

Those atheists would probably just eat him.

My friend showed me that artilce and my first reaction was "Wow, what a great business model - why didn't I think of that?  Get paid today for a future liability that cannot be predicted when, or even if, will ever occur! "

Then I realized it is because I am not a scam artist.....

Based on the number of bumper-stickers I see declaring "WARNING: In case of rapture, this car will be unmanned", I'm already planning on opening a series of used-car lots specialising in spontaneously-abandoned vehicles.

"No credit? No faith? No problem!"

This is the smartest thing I've ever seen.  Can you imagine taking that W2 into Jackson Hewitt?  You do what, now?

I think they could improve their pricing structure. They should require people to bid for the placement of their pets, as there will be more pets than people to care for them. Those new homes should come at a premium.

That guy is a genius.

I saw this website quite a while ago- maybe a year- but at the time, it just appeared to be a joke.  The fact that they're actually making real money off of this makes me so happy.  Just kind of wish I'd come up with it first!  I would totally sign up to have my name on the list of potential caretakers of pets left behind.

This is hilarious, glad the guy is making some money! If you are so stupid to fall for that kind of stuff, you deserve to get ripped off for sure.

If anyone in MN with really nice horses wants me to watch them post-rapture, I'm happy to help!  Could I maybe take those Olympic horses?  Heck, I'll take racehorses too.  More ponies for me! Cool

So many things to worry about, and people are worried about this?  Sorry, but to me it's all fairy tale stuff and I find it pretty silly.

However, as an atheist and pet lover, I volunteer to take care of anybody's pet for free!  Once all the religious people are gone, I'll have plenty of space to take care of the pets!

Heck, I've already got 36 acres, so I can handle quite a few more to go along with my 5 horses, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. But once my evangelical neighbors are gone, I can take over their 40 acres (and 5000sq. ft. home) and take in a bunch more!

Really?

There is a God. There is a heaven and there is a hell. God has given us one path to heaven (through Jesus Christ His Son).

Believe, don't believe, the choice is yours. Eternity is a very long time.

Really?  Maybe I need to invest in this business.  Lot's of gullible people out there.

Look, I'm not trying to start a religious debate.  I've heard it all and was raised a christian and still find it all to be ridiculous.  If it brings you comfort, then great, but don't feed me the BS when I find this kind of stuff amusing.

Anyone stop to consider that if you are here to witness the rapture you will have more important things to think about than caring for pets.  So you don't believe.  That's fine with me.  You are free to have that belief or non-belief to state it more accurately.  But say it happens and you are left behind.  Would you still consider it all BS and silly?  Really?!

Not at all.  You're absolutely correct.  IF this happens, then I'll have a lot to rethink, but I'll still take care of all the pets 'Left Behind.'

But until then, I'm not going to be spending my time worrying about it!

Say you die & there's nothing there. In your last moment, are you going to regret living your life honoring a myth or spending all that time at church instead of with friends & family enjoying life?

This goes both ways.

Sorry, I don't buy the whole fire and brimstone deal.  If there is a hell, it will be cold.  Very cold.  To me, that's hell.
