Dropped my son off at my parents and drove back in time to change and find the 2 hour pace bunny.

Comments:

Felt great! Pace bunny kept me on course until the last big hill but recovered nicely on the downhill for a good finishing kick.
What would you do differently?:

Pushed harder on the final hill.

Warm down:

Grabbed a nice cup of tomato soup and headed to the car.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Strength on the last hill.

Event comments:

Aid stations every 5 km just isn't enough to run without water.

Timing and results are just bizarre this year. They're ranked by chip time, not by gun time. Male and female are separated out in the OVERALL rankings, and gun time is based on the 8am early start not on the 9am official start time... Just bizarre.

Hey way to go, great job of staying with the 2 hour bunny AND you crushed your time from last year!!!!! What a nice day for a race!

Thanks, how'd you do?  I know that Try events still has the overall rankings and gun time messed up, but they've got good numbers for the chip time.

I've updated the report now that Try Events has published their completed results, but it's still not right.  They're ranked by chip time, not by gun time. Male and female are separated out in the OVERALL rankings,  I thought overall was inclusive of everybody that ran.  And gun time is based on the 8am early start not on the 9am official start time... Just bizarre.
