Comments: As I finished this race yesterday I was pretty disappointed. However, looking back today I feel alittle better about it. I knew that I would have to fininsh top 3 OA in this race in order to finish top 3 OA for the entire series. So, I decided to go all out from the start......bad idea. I tried to stay a little behind the two guys who i knew were faster than me and ran the first mile in 6:00. Then, the monkey jumped on my back. I slowed throughout and got passed by the guy who finished third about halfway through. A 4th place OA finish nontheless and I finished ahead of the guy who beat me in the 8k(still don't know how I let that happen)! What would you do differently?: Maybe not go out so fast. Figure out my nutrition for the 2pm start. Ate at 11am and still felt too full during the race. Post race
