Comments: I know it was short, only one water station, but I always carry my own, so all was pretty good. I tried to push at the beginning, hit 8:08 first mile, after that, pretty much 9ish. What would you do differently?: Put on sunscreen and drink more water.  Post race
Warm down: Walk around trying to frickin find water! What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training, fo sho! Event comments: After the finish, there was only one water booth available outside the "beer garden", so there was a huge line (and they ran out). There were multiple water booths inside the stupid garden, so if you forgot your ID (which I did), you couldn't get water! Stupid.... The chip pickup was also hosed, so everything started a little late. It's a neat idea tho, course was pretty alright. :) Last updated: 2010-01-27 12:00 AM

Routine? Hah! No routine other than eating some fud, drinking some water (not enough), and trying to do the "thing". Would have been an even better idea if I would have put sunscreen on, sheesh!
Walk around and try not to get overheated.
