Very eloquent, Will.   I have too many to count - I totally love quotes.  Since I started tri-ing, my favorite is "Pain is temporary, but quitting lasts forever".  So true, and hence, I never quit.

I don't know why, but this quote always makes me smile and then feel like I could do better.

I think that was said originally by the big red Kool Aid man.

My current fav:  "Ladies and gents take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice"  I don't quite remeber who said it, but it's from M*A*S*H*

Funny how ol' Ben seems to be commenting on things that are happening nowadays, huh?

Without going in depth on my political views ( though it is nice to see that there are some folks on this site that are "link-minded" ) suffice to say I'm happy that Big Brother no longer has the authority to ask libraries to see what I've been reading or bookstores to give up customers spending habits on literature.

Long Live NPR!  I don't want Big Bird to die!

I have too many to count... lately, seeing as I just saw Spinal Tap for the first time (!), it's been one of these:

"These go to eleven."

"You can't really dust for vomit."

"It's like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black."

This is kind of funny.  The company I work for has a "quote of the month" contest.  Well this month I borrowed sixteen quotes from the "quotes" section of this site.  Because they had to be work related, I couldn't use many of the best ones.  I won for June!

The quote they picked was one of the poorer ones I submitted:

"Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did." - Newt Gingrich

I thought it was funny given the source of the quote and the fact that perseverance is my weakest trait, and not to mention I have a gold mine of quotes for future months.

My favorite quote is the Lance Armstrong quote "....I'm on my bike....what are you on?"  I have the whole thing printed out and hanging on my cubicle wall.

I like this one a lot too, I don't know why, it's just so right - "Every so often the dog has to battle the bear just so he can call himself a dog again." - Faulkner
