Comments: Started a bit fast for me (about 10:30 min/mile) but felt pretty good so kept at it for about 3 miles. After that went down to about 11:30 and probably worse splits from there - I didn't record mile split data. Walked about 1 min or so at each mile marker. What would you do differently?: As usual, try to keep from going out to fast from excitement. I also had wanted to do more runs outside vs. treadmill but due to bad weather leading up to the race, virtually all training was on treadmill. Post race
Warm down: Walked around post-race party for a bit, light stretching, and eating whatever free food they would give me. What limited your ability to perform faster: I'm a slow lard ass. Need more speed work. Last updated: 2010-02-28 12:00 AM

Ate a jelly sandwich about 2 hours prior. Took a gu waiting in the corral. Light stretching.
We parked in my building and walked about 2 - 2 1/2 miles to the race start. Was a good warmup.
