Comments:

It went very well for my first marathon. Read my blog for lots of details- http://therunningartist.blogspot.com/2010/03/no-longer-virgin.html

Ran easy from the start, keep a good pace, drank and had gels when needed, after mile 15 walked the aid stations, this was planned and really helped a gret deal. Miles 18 to 23 were the worst, painful and I was sore, not so many fans to cheer, but I got through and with the help of family and such I made it with no injuries and I want to do more!
What would you do differently?:

Well it was my first, so there is lots I could do different!
Post race
Warm down:

Walked about 2 miles, had an ice bath later, a message, stretching, and lots of food and beer.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

It was my first time, experience probably.

Event comments:

With the exception of poor road conditions this was fabulous for me.

Congrats on your first.

Actually, none of those roads were bad by New Orleans standards.
Cool

Congrats to you on a race well run.  Just think of this past year, and the obstacles you have overcome.  And now you have completed your first marathon -- woo hoo!!!
