The lake is the warmest its been in the last 4 years at this point. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll get into the mid 60's before race day.

Hard to believe when we have 80 degree weather one day and 40 degree weather the next day.

Don't talk about it. Otherwise you'll jinx it and the lake will invert the day before the race...

robcolling - 2010-05-10 1:39 PM No jinx, no jinx, no jinx...think warm, think warm, think warm...

(As he tries to slither into a shorty, sleeveless wet suit from 10 years ago...is that a rip in the butt?? *sigh*)

The triathlon will be hard enough without seeing your saggy pasty white tush on display!

Let it be said, far and wide across this great land, to noblemen and plebeians alike, that I vow my pasty white tush will not be on display at this honorable event.

Cool

Plebeians? (!)  What the h-e-double hockey sticks is that?!

holy cow!

3 more weeks and we get to race?!!??!

hard to beleive!!

I remember this was my first race ever last year....such a GREAT race and a GREAT town.

we got a dorm room again this year...me and the wife and our 3 boys are staying in one room...it was like camping out....that was probably the most fun part of the weekend!  Though meeting Marmadaddy and Dexter and getting some BT ink right before the swim started was VERY cool.

oh yeah....I keep forgetting this....BEST POST RACE MEAL you'll ever get....

have a great weekend all!

Our Broome County Triathlon Club will be volunteering out there.  I'll be sure to look for BT folks (it was SO fun to cheer for them last year at Musselman!!!).  Look for Sara (me) pre/post race to say hi!!!! Happy training!

So, are us BT folks more on the noblemen receiving side of this message or plebeian side? Choose your words wisely my friend.

=p

There's to having a smoother race... Oh well. I could probably find mine too Jason. We should do that for the 54 section of the course. Wonder if that's legal to switch bikes? :P

You have been warned don't read if you don't like rumors and you don't like to get depressed...

I've heard they have been "cutting" the concrete expansion joints......does this mean it could possibly be worse? Anybody been up there and can share a scouting report?

The Keuka Lake thread is trailing behind the Black Bear thread by two pages. C'mon people, more chatter! Maybe we can catch up to the 168 page thread of IMLP!
