I like Sadie, too...and a lot of the other ones!

And, I like Indigo (as in Indigo Girls, for example), don't remember if that violates your rules, tho'....

What a cutie!

Looks like "Lucy" is far and away the favorite ... she does look like a Lucy ... and it's pretty close to Lisa.

The dog is turning out to be scary, scary smart. I've worked with hundreds of dogs, owned a couple of serious sharpies myself, grew up with Schutzhund-trained Dobermans ...

... and there is something creepy-smart about this one. I'm thinking of asking HER to read my planner and see what she makes of it.

So I'm trying to think of "smart" names. Da Vinci? Vinci? Luci-fer? Plato? Socrates? Van Gogh? Edison? (ooooh ... I like that.) Who's a really smart chick? (Lisa. DUH!)

Mostly, she's getting called Lisa or Piglet. (But I call lots of people and dogs Piglet ...) It seems kind of undignified, but then again ... perhaps (until now) the sharpest dog I ever met, one with mass amounts of certifications and titles for obedience and tracking (only one other dog in the U.S. is so decorated) was called ... Tater.

And he looked like one, too.

First thing I thought when I saw her... was "Oooh... Snook'Em's"...
she just looks so ready to lick and cuddle
But I must agree w/ everyone she looks like a Lucy (or Sadie)

Good Luck!!!!

Jane?  After Jane Goodall, but instead of a person who deeply understand animals, yours is an animal who deeply understands people.

Something (maybe Lucy/Lisa, maybe other) will stick soon...

I don't know, I don't think she's a Lisa at all. Lucy just seems to fit.

How about Clara? Clara Bartlet? We actually call my mom's dog Clara Barken because she's so good with sick people (just lays right there).
