Bike
Comments: Gears started messing up again on the climb so I had to sit and spin rather than stand and hammer. We had 30" between riders at the start which I found wasn't really enough time to clip in, get in a good position and stand to start. Good practice TT which is all I wanted. What would you do differently?: Make sure my bike is working beforehand, get on the trainer earlier, practice TT starts. Post race
Warm down: A little spinning, mostly chatting, cheering, checking results. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not much riding in Jan & Feb due to sickness & a fairly hard ride the day before. Event comments: Great low-key race close to home. Glad to get 1st TT jitters out of the way here. Last updated: 2010-03-07 12:00 AM

Met Lynn, Ellen, Debbie and Jerry at the Morrison Conoco. Threw everything in Ellen's car and rode to the start.
We had changed wheels and cassette on my TT bike that morning and I found out the shifting in the low gears was sucky on our way into the race. Ted worked on it, I rode around a little, chatted w/ others, finally got on the trainer as the starter rounded us up to start early.
