Comments: this was my first half marathon. my goal was to run 1:25, but i ran 1:28:25, still pretty good What would you do differently?: prepare better mentally. i had the trainig down but my mind was playing games with me the last 3 miles. i almost gave up. i was so close to stop running and start walking. Post race
Warm down: ran .25 miles cool down, drank a chocolate milk and lots of water. went to eat a big breakfast with mom ans sibblings. What limited your ability to perform faster: not enough, better ans systematic training? Last updated: 2010-01-21 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5 am and ate 2 egg whites with toast and jelly and 2 cups of coffee. drove to the event. got there at about 6:15 am. race started at about 7:00 am.
jogged 1/2 mile before race. stretched a little bit.
