I put my box of Tagalongs in the freezer for after ING GA this weekend. Yum, can't wait!

to be honest, they have priced themselves out for me...

Every year, it's more expensive AND they reduce the count/amount...  I have hit my limit.  They ended up just saving me from myself.

Now I just have to stay away from the cookie isle at the grocery store!

Houston, I'm with you - another cookie mom here. And I can eat a box of those danged Samoas in a sitting. (1400 calories and some change, in case you were wondering... ugh.)

What is a Samoa? Why'd they get all fancy with the names? Can't we just have peanut butter ones, thin mints and the chocolate, caramel coconut cookes?

My wife absolutely loves the Samoas, LOVES them!  Every year I order her 6 boxes from a colleague in the fall, never knowing when they come in.  Well this year my wife decides to give up cookies for lent and 2 days later her Samoas show up.  They are in the freezer and every night I catch her opening the freezer and staring at them! 

Lucky for me I'm not a sweets guy, however put a 24oz steak in front of me and all's left is grizzle and fat, hence why I'm "Tri'ing for Weightloss"

We always get six boxes of thin mints and six boxes of somoas. I always tell the girls to come back next year and I will buy more. This year I haven't seen a single girl scout any where. Everyone has been talking about them and I haven't seen any.  I start telling people to keep an eye out for me. So now I have 24 boxes of girl scout cookies.  I wonder how many other people will pick some up for me.

Yummm, especially frozen!! However, I agree with some of the others that they are just getting too expensive (but less and less in the box) plus they are even more over here in HI but at least it helps with my self control!

In that case, I freakin love Samoas. Thin Mints are cool, as are the peanut butter ones, but I'm all over the samoas. We only got two boxes and they're almost gone. I went out on a limb and tried the berry and dolce de caramel (or something like that) and they blow. They might still be around next cookie season.

Now the question is, do I just finish off the peanut butter patties today or keep them around. They seem to sabotage me every day though.

I'm in a bad position.  I know the local director, and she is my "off-season cookie dealer."

I normally use them as incentives for my customers (who wonder how I get these delicious morsels in the off-season), but occasionally have to keep a box (or 3) for myself. 

LOL.... I need my fix

It's even worse when you're the Cookie Mom.  Cookies were coming and going, boxes were opened...eaten...more cookies came...more cookies eaten....cookies...cookies.  It drove me mad to have so many cookies at my house.  If that wasn't enough we have GS cookies that we bought to help bring my girls to their goal of 101 each.  ARG...they're still the freezer, too!

I bought I don't even know how many boxes I bought, but so far I've got 8 boxes of Samoas in my freezer.  I looked at the calorie info.

Sitting down and eating 1 full box of Samoas is 750 calories... empty calories..... and I used to sit down and eat TWO boxes at a time. 

Now, only 4 cookies at a time, and that's IF I have the calories left over at the end of the day.
