That was a great event.  Does anyone know who to contact on a possible lost and found?  I left my POLAR HEART RATE Transponder and ChestrapFrown

I think Kathie Dunbar (race organizer) would be the person to check with.  Her email address is [email protected] It may take her a couple of days to respond...

I was glad the weather cooperated for us today, it was a great race!

Does anyone know how long the it usually takes the timing company to post results on the website?

Agreed - great event.  MY only (very small) issue was I could not hear at all the announcements at the swim start line on which waves were being called.  Very minor indeed.  Great event and I loved the running trail - scenic and shady!

They are up: http://results.active.com/pages/displayNonGru.jsp?orgID=216362&rsID=94272

I couldn't hear the swim wave starts either. I had to ask somebody and it turns out it was my group so I took off running. I would have liked more port-o-pots, especially some that were more accessible during the race.

I appreciate the plug -- and we definitely have some great photos headed your way! -- but there are many more to be posted over the next couple of days. I'm posting them one themed gallery at a time as they're ready, so feel free to dig around and enjoy them. It's best to wait until everything's posted before ordering, though, to avoid potentially getting dinged twice for shipping.

I'm currently on track to have all photos posted by sometime Wednesday. Meanwhile, I invite you to email me at [email protected] if you'd like me to notify you directly when everything's ready.

Thanks!

Ah, yes: as several customers (more clever than I) have already sorted out, there's no shipping associated with digital downloads.

Great intro to tri's!

It was good to know and meet some new tri folks at H.I. I look forward to it next year already.

Thanks Dane for the great pics!

I'm a little late to this thread, but I had a similar experience.  I was warming up in the swim area when I saw a bunch of people go dashing into the water.  Thankfully it wasn't time for my group, but it did get the adrenaline going!

You're not the only one late getting here. I loved the race and the people there, especially enjoyed meeting Jef Mallet. Only problem I had was a physical one, I blew out my shoulder in the swim and never finished the race. I will be back next year though, I am in physical therapy now and ran several 5 and 10 Ks as well a a series of TT around the state this summer to stay in shape. I get to get back into the water the fisrt part of Oct and can't wait.
