I am already set for my 5th race of '10.

It is at Lifetime Easton.  It is free to get in to watch the race.  Once you're in you could use the facility because the only check point is the entrance.  They probably have people sign in but they have never pestered any of my guests afterward about joining.

Fisrt wave starts at 7.  My wave starts at 9 am.

I would like to improve over last months lifetime indoor at dublin.

Anyone else racing?

How'd it go?  Did you improve?

I participated at the LTF tri in Dublin...  I think you were in the wave after me... running superfast!  I signed up for the LTF tri in Beachwood as I visit my parents.  Hoping to improve, myself.  We'll see!

Congrats!!

I actually was next to you on the treadmill (didn't put that together until I read your post).

My race at Easton went better than Dublin, except that I bumped the emergency stop button on the treadmill during my run and had to start over.  Luckily I knew my distance up until that point so they were able to add it on to my total.

When you hit the stop I saw how far you'd gone and I think you might have even had a tenth further than you thought.

GREAT JOB!

I was glad there was someone running next to me.

I was pretty much on my death bed during the run - did you watch the show about thurstles on the screen across the room.

Talk about defeating.  No matter how fast I went that stinking tortoise stayed 25 meters ahead of me.

On a completely other topic with LTF (which I love), I'm so frustrated that they STILL haven't posted the results for last week's tri in Beachwood!!!  It's been a week, folks!  What happened to posting it by Tuesday?!?!?!

*Breathing calmly*
-regaining my composure-

Thanks for letting me blow off some steam!

Obstacles:
bad night's sleep
fighting off a cold
completely different bikes set on the least resistance possible and taped down (that was the worst part)

Accomplishments:
Did better in the swim 22.5 lenghts (up from 22), but the half didn't count
Bike was 9 miles instead of 15.6 (for the reason I mentioned earlier, but I almost came in first for this leg--avg. was 6 miles or so
Run was steady at 2.5 (just .02 shy of Dublin, but at that point not feeling well)

So I was pleased...

Unofficially I was the 1st female, and overall 3rd.  Field was only 22 though.  Brue, you would have blown everyone away!

I'll post again when they're finally up!
