I'm really interested in joining a club but not sure who to go with.  Any suggestions?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It all depends on what you want, where you live, etc.

This list is not all inclusive.  I'm sure others will add to it.

I'm a member of Texas Triple Threat.  Website  Check out the team calendar to get an idea of the team workouts and their locations.

I'm a Fit2Train member http://www.fit2train.com/

Voted 'Best Triathlon Club in Texas' in last Competitor Magazine voting.

However, I'd say mostly depends on where you live - no club does you much good if you don't make the workouts.

Have fun!

Agreed. I'm in DA because their Wednesday night ride is convenient for me, moreso than most other group rides around town. I'd probably join TTT if they had more group workouts that appealed to me from a convenience standpoint, Kristen's a great swim coach.

I tried joining this group, but at the first OWS the water burned me when I touched it. I figured it was a sign I needed to hang out somewhere else.

There's nothing in USAT rules against walking on water!

I think most will let you come out and try a workout for a very small drop in fee or so. You could try a few out and see which one works best for you. I am with TTT.

I grew up in SL and remeber when 1709 was a 2 lane farm road.

I am a big fan of Dallas Athletes. Based around Carrollton/ Coppell area.
There are one or two workouts you can attend every day except Friday.
Great group of volunteers and a wide variety of abilities.
They also run several races throughout the year.
