Seafair Triathlon 7/17 -- Seattle, WA

A half mary one week, a sprint tri the next...It must be great to be young!  Good luck and have fun, hope the mornings are cool and the afternoons lovely!

I'll probably head down to cheer everyone on since Seward Park is so close to my house.  But then again, maybe I should sign up.  Hmm. . .

Is there any chance of a carpool to this race? I don't want to rent a car to lug my bike to the race, because they charge a ridiculous amount for young'ns like me. I'll buy the driver lunch

Just registered this week so I will see you all there!  By the way I do OW swims at Seward Park on Thursdays at 7pm.  This is a great opportunity to train at the race site.

And for the record: I'm a big fan of people growing out of the age-group...always a good time.

Just got my "registration confirmation post-card" in the mail...so not only do they have my money, but they also have my info -- good combination

Today at master's swimming we did a lake swim from some guy's house to Mercerwood Swim Club (where we swim at)...it was neat because on the way there (we got trucked down to the guy's house because all our cars were at the pool) I was talking with this guy who did IM Coeur d'Alene and what not...he mentioned that he's doing this triathlon (Seafair) but to watch out because it's really really popular, so the swim (he said) is so chocked full of people it's ridiculous.


Well, I just hope I don't clobber someone!

but did anyone else get any of that soap stuff? "Enhanced with Guarana" -- sounds kind of fun!

I picked up my packet early this morning.  Lime green cap for me.  See you tomorrow!

I got that soap from the marathon packet pick-up, but I haven't tried it yet. It promises to be a wild time though, from what the promoters told me.
